Pacific Division Online Betting Tips

The Pacific Division is becoming one of the most feared in the National Hockey League. How can it not be when it features bruising teams such as the Los Angeles Kings, San Jose Sharks and Anaheim Ducks. In an era where the NHL has transitioned to speed and skill, the Pacific Division is a throwback, with many teams still succeeding with strength and size.

Take the San Jose Sharks as an example. The club reached the Stanley Cup final in 2016 with a roster loaded with size from Brent Burns, Joe Thornton and Joe Pavelski. However with a combination of skilled and crafty forwards, the Sharks continue to be one of the premier teams in the NHL.

The same goes for the Kings, who many believed after two Stanley Cup wins in 2010 and 2012, could not compete in a faster league — and were those critics ever wrong. During the 2016-17 campaign, power forward Jeff Carter turned heads by scoring 30 or more goals for the fourth time in his career. Not only are the Kings in good shape offensively, the club boasts one of the best blue-lines in the NHL with Drew Doughty leading the way.

Then there’s the Ducks, propelled by the dynamic duo of Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry, who led the franchise to its first Stanley Cup in 2007 under head coach Randy Carlyle. Perry has scored five goals one in his career and netted 30 or more tallies six times overall.

While the Pacific Division has primarily been a three-team race, a fourth has officially joined the competition. Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers can be considered playoff contenders and as the team builds around the budding superstar, they’re only going to get better.

In fact, the Oilers were among the league’s top scoring teams during the 2016-17 season.

So who’s your team in the Pacific Division? If you’re putting your money down throughout the NHL season, it’s important to follow the division closely and track each team’s progress.

Another successful tactic is following when teams in the Pacific Division play on home ice. Specifically the San Jose Sharks, who are one of the toughest teams to play at the SAP Center.

Follow some of these tips and cashing in on Pacific Division wagers will become more common.
