Lions vs Colts NFL Week 13 Wagering Lines Game Day Forecast
Indianapolis Colts: Chasing AFC Wild Card spot
Despite getting ripped 59-24 by the Patriots in Week 11, Indianapolis rebounded with a hard fought 20-13 win over the Bills in Week 13. Though not quite a season saver, the victory sure helped as the Colts (7-4) enter Sunday action as the top Wild Card team. With the Texans cruising along in the AFC South, a division title is out of reach but making the playoffs is a strong possibility for rookie QB Andrew Luck and the Colts. A win today and Indy remains at least a game ahead of Pittsburgh and Cincinnati in the Wild Card race. It could be a two game lead on the Steelers who are spiraling downward and have to face the Ravens on the road.
Detroit Lions: It’s wait until next season for the young Motor City Cats
After getting on a decent roll with a 3-1 run, Detroit has lost three straight games and they can kiss their playoff hopes goodbye. Inconsistency from QB Mathew Stafford, questionable coaching, as well as a defense that’s still a long way away from being an elite unit, have all played a role during the Lions losing streak. Detroit (4-7) is also staring down a losing season which is surprising being as they have the best WR in the league in Calvin Johnson and they have built up a solid running game with Mikel Leshoure and Joique Bell. The Cats will put points on the board but Luck, WR Reggie Wayne, and the Colts offense can match them.
Online Sports Betting Colts vs Lions Betting Odds and Prediction
Checking in at the bovada.lv online sportsbook, we find the Lions as -5 (-110) point spread and -225 money line home chalk. The Colts are listed at +185 straight up and the game total has been set at 51 total points. A relatively soft schedule for the Colts, coupled with a brutal run for the Lions, reflects the record of both teams and keeps us from taking the Colts S/U here. We’ll also stay away from the total as just three Colts games have exceeded that big number, while Detroit contests have eclisped 51 points four times. A late field goal may very well decide this contest so give us the Colts at +5 with a 10% bankroll bet at Bovada!
