Peyton Manning Won’t Be Manning Up At All This Season…

Let’s hope that that Payton won’t be “manning” up before that broken bone heals completely, based on some far-fetched idea that the team is nothing without him…….. …which actually might not be far off from the truth.

While oddsmakers are setting the chances of our seeing Peyton Manning back out on the field at 50/50, we’re betting on the fact that his career is basically over….  …for the season.

Many fans and know-body’s believe that the chances of the QB’s return will increase drastically if the Colts have a solid season and emerge at the top of the AFC South in December. Otherwise, it’s “ciao bella” to the team and their famous quarterback until the 2012 season kicks off.

While the question arises “can the Colts do anything at all without their star leader?” fans are running to Indianapolis’ defense by insisting that the team’s record to date isn’t indicative of a pre-determined downer season.

But as we all know, these things are immensely difficult to predict, and Peyton Manning or no Peyton Manning, the Colts have an uphill battle ahead of them. Let’s hope that that Peyton won’t be “manning” up before that broken bone heals completely, based on some far-fetched idea that the team is nothing without him……..  …which actually might not be far off from the truth.
