Red-Hot Canadiens Looking to Extend Streak Against Kings
Montreal moving up the Atlantic ladder
Just six points behind the Boston Bruins, the Canadiens are making their move up the ladder in the Atlantic Division standings. Montreal has won two straight and five of their last six games played. In four of their last five games, the Canadiens have scored four or more goals. They will need to rely on their offense yet again since the availability of number-one goalie Carey Price is still unknown for this game. Montreal will need strong play from backup Peter Budaj.
Kings bring four-game win streak into this contest
With a four-game winning streak on the line, the Kings will be tough to beat tonight at home. Los Angeles scored just 13 goals during a recent 1-8-1 stretch. They have found their offense again, scoring 13 goals during their current winning streak. In three starts in net since the Olympic break, goalie Jonathan Quick is undefeated. During that span, Quick has stopped 73 of 75 shots. Prior to the break, Quick struggled immensely, losing eight of nine starts.
When these two offensive juggernauts meet on Monday night on the West Coast, we will look to SportsBetting.ag to find the line. It is a tough game to pick because both teams are so incredibly hot, especially on the offensive side of things. But, we have to make a selection, and we like Montreal with the OVER five total goals scored at +104 on Monday night.
