Syracuse Orange Trying to Rebound Against Maryland Terps
Orange will not lose a third straight game
If head coach Jim Boeheim has anything to say about tonight’s ACC contest, the Orange will not lose a third consecutive game. After suffering their first two losses of the season, the Orange need to find a way to rebound and fast if they want to move back to the top of the national rankings as the tourney approaches. What began as an incredible start to the season with 25 straight wins, the Orange now find themselves at number-four in the nation.
Terps out to make a major statement to the committee
With the selection committee watching every single game from here on out, the Terps can make a huge statement with a home win over their ACC rivals tonight. Maryland is unranked, has a 15-12 overall record and a 7-7 mark in the ACC. A win over the Terrapins could help them as the tourney approaches, but will not solidify their spot in the championship tournament. They would still need to win at least a couple more games before the playoffs.
Since they have lost two straight games, the Orange are just five-point favorites tonight against the Terps on the road. Even though they have struggled of late, the Orange should have no trouble winning this game. We will lay the line with 15 percent of our bankroll on Monday night over at Bovada in favor of Syracuse.
