Tigers vs. White Sox American League Central MLB Betting Odds

AL Central Division Title is getting closer for Detroit

Thanks to a 16-6 record since the All-Star break, the Tigers (69-48) have opened up a 6.5 game lead over the Kansas City Royals in the AL Central playoff race. Detroit has stumbled a bit recently as they have lost three of their last four games – including a 6-2 decision last night. The Cats should be an ornery Crew tonight and they have the perfect slump buster heading to the bump. The Sox are 45-72 and 24 games back of Detroit.

Chicago runs into the best pitcher in Major League Baseball tonight

Max Scherzer will prowl the hill tonight and that’s not good news for Chicago. The Maximizer (17-1 ERA 2.84) has beat Chicago twice in the last two weeks (7-3 and 3-0) allowing two runs, on seven hits, over 15.2 innings pitched in those contests. It doesn’t look like the Tigers recent losing record is getting us much of a discount on the betting board. We’ll lay the -1.5 (-130) run line and back the Cats at the bovada.lv online sportsbook!
