Two 3-3 Teams Meet Monday Night When Pittsburgh Hosts Houston
Steelers need more consistent play from ‘Big Ben’
Ben Roethlisberger has not been as consistent this year as in previous years for the Steelers, who have alternated wins and losses each week of the season heading into tonight. If their pattern stays the same, they are due for a win after being embarrassed by Cleveland last weekend 31-10. Pittsburgh is in the basement of the AFC North standings, but they are not worried about any of that right now.
Texans relying on play of J.J. Watt to lead defense tonight
J.J. Watt has been nearly unstoppable on defense for the Texans this year. He has already scored three touchdowns and has been causing havoc on opposing quarterbacks with ease. It looks as if no one in the league can block him effectively and he might get some much-needed help tonight if number-one pick Jadeveon Clowney returns to the field for the first time since week one. Head coach Bill O’Brien said there is a 50-50 chance Clowney plays tonight.
We will use the betting odds from BetOnline.ag to place our wager on Monday night for the Steelers and the Texans from Heinz Field. We like the host Steelers in this contest as we drop 10 percent of our bankroll on Pittsburgh and the -145 money line as they move to 4-3 on the year with a much-needed victory.
