Two Struggling Teams Meet Sunday When Washington Hosts Tennessee
Titans look for momentum off ugly win last week
Tennessee barely won last weekend against winless Jacksonville, holding on to grab the victory by a score of 16-14 thanks to three Ryan Succop field goals. Then, with 12 seconds left in the game, the Titans had to block a game-winning field goal attempt by Jacksonville to escape with a win. A win is a win, but that was too close for Tennessee, which is just 2-4 this year. Despite their ugly record, they are still in a better position than the Redskins.
Redskins lucky to have even one win this season
Washington added some offensive firepower in the off-season by signing former Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson, but that has not helped the Redskins at all. Robert Griffin III is not expected back until sometime in November, but even he will not be able to fix this mess. With a 1-5 record, the Redskins are in the cellar of the NFC East and are one of the worst teams in the entire NFL aside from Jacksonville.
As week seven of the NFL season resumes on Sunday, we will place our wager at TopBet.eu, where shockingly the Redskins are favored at home in this contest. We do not agree with the odds, which is why we will back the Titans with 10 percent of our bankroll on the OVER 46 total points scored.
