White Sox and Twins Play Second of Four Games in Minnesota
White Sox and Jose Abreu looking for wins
Jose Abreu has enjoyed most of rookie season so far, minus the trip to the disabled list earlier this year, as he has launched 20 home runs. Abreu and the White Sox will look to knock around Twins starter Ricky Nolasco, who is just 4-5 this season with a 5.66 ERA. Chicago has already defeated Nolasco this year, on Opening Day, after pegging him for five runs on 10 hits, two of them home runs.
Twins and Joe Mauer trying to find consistency
Minnesota has been a very inconsistent team this year, but with Joe Mauer healthy, they hope to make a move in the standings relatively soon. Mauer loves facing the White Sox at Target Field, where he is hitting .440 with seven doubles and three triples during a 12-game home hitting streak against Chicago. Nolasco has been downright awful against Chicago in his career, going 0-2 with a 6.63 ERA. Tonight could be ugly for Nolasco and the Twins.
We head over to BetOnline.ag to find the betting odds for tonight’s American League Central contest between the Twins and the White Sox from Minnesota as these two teams fight to stay out of the basement. The White Sox are underdogs on the road, but we like them with the OVER nine total runs scored at -105 as we put 15 percent of our bankroll down for the bet on Chicago.
