FC Dallas, originally known as Dallas Burn, have been around Major League Soccer since its inception. The club is owned and operated by Hunt Sports Group and plays its home games at the soccer-specific Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas. They moved into the stadium in 2005. The team’s best finishes in the regular season came in 2006, 2015 and 2016, the latter seeing them finish top of the Western Conference, which was enough to win the Supporters’ Shield. FC Dallas finished runners up in the MLS Cup in 2010, losing to the Colorado Rapids.
Dallas were part of the inaugural season in 1996 and found consistency from the off. They managed to make the playoffs in seven consecutive seasons.
Dallas’ runner-up finish in the 2010 MLS cup earned them the right to compete in the CONCACAF Champions League for the first time. They did not make it out of the group stage but overall it was a great experience to build on for the club.
Schellas Hyndman resigned in 2013 after failing to secure playoff soccer for two straight seasons, shortly after Dallas announced that Columbian and former player Oscar Pajero was to be head coach. He led them to 1st-place finish in the Western Conference in 2015 and all the way to the Western Conference finals in the playoffs where they couldn’t overcome the Portland Timbers.
The 2016 MLS season was hugely successful with Dallas topping the Western Conference for the second year running, winning the Supporters’ Shield and reaching the quarterfinals of the CONCACAF Champions League. Can they improve further in 2017?

FC Dallas Online Betting Tips
Are Dallas at home or on the road? Teams notoriously perform better at home so use this to your advantage when placing bets. Dallas have been phenomenal at home for the past three seasons and we do not see this trend ending any time soon.
In 2014, Dallas finished with a 12-4-1 record on home soil, while 2015 saw them improve, going 13-2-2. In their Supporters’ Shield winning season in 2016, Dallas went 12-1-4, only losing once at home. If Dallas are at home, they usually win and this makes them perfect for parlay bets.
Dallas’ main rival in the MLS are state rivals, Houston Dynamo. Each season these clubs compete for ‘El Capitan’, a working replica Civil War cannon that goes to the regular season winner.
Recent history and competitive matches in the playoffs and MLS cup has led to growing animosity between players and fans of the clubs.
