Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix Betting Lines Picks

Here are drivers to consider putting your money on for Sunday’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Lewis Hamilton (-110)

You couldn’t have drawn up a better season for Lewis Hamilton, who has nine victories for Mercedes in 2017. Can the four-time F1 champion add to his wins list on Sunday in Abu Dhabi? BetOnline has Lewis pegged as the -110 favorite heading into the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix — a race he’s won two times in the past. Along with his nine victories this season, Lewis has also reached podium 12 times. You can expect that trend to continue on Sunday.

Valtteri Bottas (+150)

It’s a long shot, but Valtteri Bottas — Lewis Hamilton’s teammate — can still finish second overall. Bottas — at +150 odds to win the race — currently sits third in the F1 standings with 280 points, 22 behind Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel. In order for Bottas to move into second place, he must win the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and have Vettel place no better than ninth. It is a long shot but one that is very possible at the same time.

Sebastian Vettel (+500)

The star Ferarri driver has won the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix before but has never placed higher than third any other time. However, betters have taken notice to BetOnline’s very enticing +500 line on Vettel heading into Sunday’s race. Vettel sits second overall in the standings and even though he cannot catch Lewis Hamilton for first, the German driver can further secure the runner-up spot with a strong performance. And at +500 it is well worth the chance.

Daniel Ricciardo (+2000)

The Aussie driver with Red Bull Racing is clinging on to fourth place and will need a great outing in Abu Dhabi to stay there. Ricciardo, who won the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Brazil, has a very slim seven-point edge over fifth-place Kimi Raikkonen as the two drivers prepare to do battle on Sunday. BetOnline has Ricciardo as a +2000 dark horse to win the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. However, it wouldn’t be out of line to suggest the Aussie may find the podium.

Kimi Raikkonen (+3300)

The Finnish driver has yet to win a race on the F1 circuit this season despite reaching the podium seven times. Can Raikkonen break that skid on Sunday at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix? BetOnline is pegging the Ferrari driver at +3300 to win the race, which would vault him into fourth place and closer to teammate Sebastian Vettel. Raikkonen is no stranger to success at Abu Dhabi, where he won the grand prix in 2012. He has what it takes to do it again.

Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Prediction: Sebastian Vettel (+150)
Runner-up: Lewis Hamilton (-110)
