Online Sports Betting’s 2015 Wyndham Championship Preview

Online Sports Betting’s 2015 Wyndham Championship Preview
All four majors may be in the books but that doesn't mean compelling golf showdowns have left the building in 2015. Here's a look at this week's 2015 Wyndham Championship set to take place in Greensboro, North Carolina.

A Look At The Course

Welcome to the final PGA event before things shift into the playoffs for the FedEx Cup. As always, the Wyndham Championship will tee off at the Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina. Established in 1926, this Tar Heel state course is a 7,130 yard challenge with the greens updated in 2012 to go from bent grass to Champion Bermuda. The 12th hole will be a serious test for the field. The 235 yard Par 3 includes an undulating two-tier green that could haunt contenders that fail to solve it.

Our Pick To Win

Taking place only a few days removed from the PGA Championship, the 2015 Wyndham Championship may appear light on star power but there's definitely some marquee monikers in the field. Greensboro's annual golf showdown features eight of the Top 30 golfers in the Official World Golf Rankings. Adam Scott, Hideki Matsuyama, Brooks Koepka, Martin Kaymer, Billy Horschel, Paul Casey, Bill Haas and Brandt Snedeker. Additional star power comes from the somewhat surprising appearance of Tiger Woods, plus Luke Donald and Ernie Els. We think this is a tournament where a sleeper can spring forth and score a surprise victory, but we're giving the nod to someone in that special Top 30. Martin Kaymer hasn't won on the PGA Tour yet this season, but Greensboro could be good to him. The German linksman nailed some beautiful 30+ yard putts at Whistling Straits and he's primed to have the pieces fall into place over four days. We say Kaymer busts his 2015 slump in style at the 2015 Wyndham Championship.

Our Pick: Martin Kaymer
