Who’s Got The Power?: Online Sports Betting’s Weekly MLB Power Rankings (July 23 Edition)
Baseball's mightiest clubs are starting to break away from the pack and we're here to place a spotlight on the five best. Each and every Thursday we look at Major League Baseball's most fearsome squads in our weekly MLB Power Rankings.

The second half of the 2015 regular season is underway and it's getting a lot easier to pick out the good and the garbage. As we do every single Thursday, we’ve rounded up our picks for the five best teams in baseball as of this week. If your team’s in the Top 5, you might want to consider taking some time off work in October. If it’s not, shake the 8 Ball again and check back with us in a week. (Unless you're a Phillies fan because we all know how that movie's going to end.)

5. New York Yankees

Odds To Win The World Series: 14/1

Who would have pegged the Yankees for a spot in the Top 5? The Big Apple's AL club has started to heat up and now sits relatively comfortably at the top of the AL East standings. The Yanks have gone 8-2 in their last ten contests and have the capability of making a big deal deadline deal or two to get better.

4. Pittsburgh Pirates

Odds To Win The World Series: 10/1

The Bucs have dropped down four slots in our Power Rankings and that's largely due to a mystique popping sweep at the hands of the Milwaukee Brewers. The Pirates are still a very very very (very) very good baseball club, but they sure looked vulnerable kicking off their second half eating a trio of losses in Wisconsin. Strong pitching and a talented roster gives Pittsburgh the opportunity to bounce back.

3. Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim

Odds To Win The World Series: 10/1

The Halos continue to heat up and the Astros are scrambling to keep up. The Angels racked up win-after-win after the All-Star Break and can still boast having Mike Trout as a gamechanger. The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have notched a healthy number of quality starts and are keeping opponents to a paltry .240 batting average.

2. St. Louis Cardinals

Odds To Win The World Series: 8/1

St. Louis reigns as the best team in the National League. The pitching for the Cards has been remarkable in 2015 with the NL Central leaders boasting an ERA that's nearly .30 lower than the nearest squad. Following today's hotly anticipated interleague clash with the Royals, the Cardinals will take on non-threatening opponents like Atlanta and Cincinnati.

1. Kansas City Royals

Odds To Win The World Series: 6/1

Kansas City continues to impress. The Royals took 2 of 3 in a battle against the Bucs and have won 12 of their last 15 games. KC has somehow managed to get amazing results this year despite having the second fewest quality starts in the Majors in 2015. On the flip side, the Royals have the second best batting average in baseball right now.
