5 NFL Games Worth Watching In Week 4

5 NFL Games Worth Watching In Week 4
The National Football League offers up yet another collection of gridiron action for your amusement and some contests are clearly better than others. We've cherrypicked the five best games of Week 4 for your convenience and scheduling sanity.

The Big Game

Minnesota at Denver - Sunday, October 4th 4:25 PM ET

Let's not sugarcoat things, Week 4's slate of games is a relatively unappetizing crop. Yes, even compared to last week. That's why this Vikings/Broncos clash tops our must-watch power rankings. The Vikes started the season ugly but have showcased a fearsome defense and an excellent AP led running game after Week 1. Minnesota will be doing battle with a Denver team that hasn't looked great in their first three contests, but has still managed to go 3-0. Essentially, this game boasts two fearsome defenses, significant star power (Peyton, Peterson, etc.) and roughly three hours of arguing over Gary Kubiak's offensive philosophy. Exciting stuff. Denver's favoured by 4.5, by the way.

Four More To Watch

Houston at Atlanta - Sunday, October 4th 1:00 PM ET

Houston haven't looked great in 2015 (a proper quarterback and a healthy Arian Foster could fix that) but they should still give the red hot Falcons a test on Sunday. Matty Ice and Julio Jones have led Atlanta to 2nd place in the passing yards arms race and the defense appears to be improved with Dan Quinn helming the team. The AFC South's been lousy this year, so if Houston upsets Atlanta they could be in sole possession of the division's top spot. Atlanta's favoured by five at home.

New York at Buffalo - Sunday, October 4th 1:00 PM ET

The Bills got a rude awakening in Week 2 when New England came to town, but a Week 3 annihilation of Miami has gotten things back on track for Buffalo. The Giants will aim to knock Buffalo's momentum out of whack again when they come to Ralph Wilson Stadium this Sunday. Eli Manning and NYG looked alright last Thursday against Washington and could be finding a groove if they dispatch Buffalo. Star wideout Victor Cruz says he's coming back in Week 4, so it's not that wacky to think this game might be a competitive one. Still, the Bills will aim to shred the G-Men's defense with the most successful rushing attack in the National Football League. The line has Buffalo as the favourites by five and a half points.

Kansas City at Cincinnati - Sunday, October 4th 4:05 PM ET

Kansas City looked like a threat this year after they picked apart the Texans in Week 1. Flash forward to Week 4 where Andy Reid is trying to get his squad back on track. To be fair, Kansas City's losses came against the Packers and Broncos, so it's not like they've been crushed by cupcakes. Cincinnati sure as sugar is no pushover either. The Bengals are 3-0 on the year and Andy Dalton's looked absolutely stellar. Cincy (who are favoured by a field goal) sent hearts aflutter with A.J. Green's remarkable Week 3 performance and the Chiefs do everything they can to shut that down.

St. Louis at Arizona - Sunday, October 4th 4:25 PM ET

Do you believe in the Cards? Arizona continues to make an incredibly strong case that last year's run was far from a fluke. 4-0 is within reach as Carson Palmer & Co. host the St. Louis Rams. One big question is whether or not Rams QB Nick Foles can get the upper hand against an improved Cardinals secondary. Oddsmakers project Arizona as a six point favourite for Sunday.
