NFL Picks ATS Week 16

Odds Courtesy of

New Orleans Saints (-260) vs. Atlanta Falcons (+220)

There is a lot at stake when the New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons clash in a divisional matchup on Christmas Eve at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. The Saints, who hold down first place with a 10-4 record, are 6-point favorites as the club looks to inch closer to a division title. The Falcons are not far behind at 9-5 and with a win can potentially move into a three-way tie for first. The Falcons are heating up of late and are 4-2 against the spread in their last 6 games. Atlanta is also 7-2 straight up in its last 9 road games. Expect a tight matchup with the Falcons pulling out the hard-fought road win.

Pick: Atlanta Falcons (+220, +6)

New England Patriots (-650) vs. Buffalo Bills (+425)

Don’t look now, but the Buffalo Bills are in playoff position as the club looks to snap a post-season drought that’s spanned 18 years. Buffalo will face a tough test against the first-place New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium. As expected, the defending champions head into the contest as convincing 13-point favorites. That is a lot of points a hungry Bills team hungry to lock up their playoff spot in the AFC. Or is it? The Bills are 0-10 straight up and 4-6 against the spread in their last 10 games on the road as double-digit underdogs. The Bills’ playoff road will take another hit on Sunday.

Pick: New England Patriots (-650, -13)

Minnesota Vikings (-430) vs. Green Bay Packers (+315)

With their playoff chances over, the Green Bay Packers will take on a division rival on Saturday night when the Minnesota Vikings pay a visit to Lambeau Field. What better way to get some payback than taking it out on a division rival? The Vikings, who lead the NFC North at 11-3 on the season, head into Saturday’s road contest as 11-point favorites. The head-to-head meeting between these two clubs over the last 3 contests has the Vikes ahead, winning twice during that span. But Minnesota is 2-6 against the spread in its last games at Lambeau Field. Take the Packers.

Pick: Green Bay Packers (+315, +11)

Philadelphia Eagles (-430) Oakland Raiders (+315)

After all the presents have been unwrapped and the turkey devoured, NFL fans around the world will be treated to some football on Christmas with a matchup between the powerhouse Philadelphia Eagles and Oakland Raiders. The Eagles — having already locked up the NFC East and a first-round bye — head into the contest as 9-point favorites on home field. The Raiders are hanging by a thread in the AFC playoff picture and can be knocked out of contention with a loss to the Eagles. Philly is 9-2 against the spread in its last 11 games — expect that trend to continue on Monday night.

Pick: Philadelphia Eagles (-9)
