NFL Picks ATS Week 4

Los Angeles Chargers vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Hop on the Carson Wentz train while you can. The Philadelphia Eagles have turned a few heads in the early goings of the NFL season as they prepare to face the winless Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday afternoon. The Chargers (0-3) head into the contest as two-point favorites against the Eagles, who sit in first place in the NFC East with a 2-1 record.

You have to go back four years since the last time these two teams clashed — the Chargers coming out with a 33-30 victory. However, the Eagles are 4-2 against the spread in their last six games and with Wentz ranking 8th in the league in passing yards, the Chargers will have a tough time containing the rising star quarterback. Through three games, the Eagles are averaging 252.6 yards passing, compared to the Chargers’ 244.6.

Expect a close match with the Eagles coming out on top and improving to 3-1!

Pick: Philadelphia Eagles (+2)

Atlanta Falcons vs. Buffalo Bills

This matchup pits one of the league’s top offenses against one the best defenses. The defending Super Bowl finalist Atlanta Falcons head into this home matchup as eight-point favorites, but don’t count out the underdog Buffalo Bills, who have stymied some good offenses in the first few weeks.

Breaking down the head-to-head matchup between these two teams, the Falcons have defeated the Bills in four of the last five meetings. The Falcons have put up the second most points in the NFC this season with 87. However, they’ve yet to face a defense as good as the Bills. Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan won’t have a lot of time to get the ball out of his hands with a Bills defense that likes to pass rush. The Falcons will win, but won’t cover the spread.

Pick: Buffalo Bills (+8)

Dallas Cowboys vs. Los Angeles Rams

Todd Gurley could very well be the top running back in the league right now and he’s a big reason why the Los Angeles Rams are at the top of the NFC West Division. Gurley, who ranks fourth in league rushing yards, will lead the underdog Rams into a road game against the Dallas Cowboys.

The Cowboys, who are also 2-1, head into the highly anticipated matchup as six-point favorites against the Rams. Los Angeles leads the entire league in points for with 107, so the Cowboys can expect to see an aggressive offense on Sunday, especially with Gurley playing his best football right now. Dallas has owned the Rams in their last seven meetings, winning five times over the span. But this is a different Rams team. Even if the Cowboys win, they won’t cover the points.

Pick: Los Angeles Rams (+6)

Denver Broncos vs. Oakland Raiders

In another highly anticipated AFC West matchup, the Denver Broncos and Oakland Raiders will face off on Sunday afternoon. Both clubs are 2-1 but the Broncos are +2.5 favorites playing on home soil. Breaking down the head-to-head matchup over the last three games, the Raiders hold a 2-1 record against the Broncos. Something to also take into consideration is that the Raiders are 10-4 against the spread in their last 14 games on the road.

The Raiders are coming off a rough week and will be looking to get back on the winning track. Look for that to happen against the struggling Denver offense on Sunday.

Pick: Oakland Raiders (+2.5)
