NFL Week 5 Picks ATS

Cincinnati Bengals (-150) vs. Buffalo Bills (+130)

Do you believe in the Buffalo Bills yet?

Through four regular season games, the Bills have turned some heads as they lead the AFC East division with a 3-1 record. Tyrod Taylor and the Bills will look to make it four wins on Sunday when they travel to take on the struggling Cincinnati Bengals.

The Bill have been carried by their strong defense, which has allowed the fewest points against (54) in the NFL this season.

The Bengals, who are 1-3 heading into Week 5, enter Sunday’s matchup against the Bills as three-point favorites. While Cincinnati’s defense has held its own through four games, the club’s offense has run dry by only scoring 64 points. Bengals QB Andy Dalton could be in for a long day against the Bills’ pass rushers, which have collected 11 sacks through four games.

Buffalo’s star running back LeSean McCoy has yet to find the back of the end zone this season, but watch for him to break through the Bengals defense on Sunday afternoon.

The Bills are feeling good right now and they’ll continue their success on the road in what is sure to be a tight matchup against the Bengals.

Pick: Buffalo Bills (+3)

Dallas Cowboys (-120) vs. Green Bay Packers (Even)

Don’t look now, but the Green Bay Packers have strung together a pair of victories and will be looking for a third straight on Sunday when they take on the Dallas Cowboys on the road.

The Packers are tied for first place in the NFC North Division, while the Cowboys sit at 2-2 — good for second in the NFC East.

Playing on home field, the Cowboys head into the highly anticipated matchup as two point favorites against the Packers. The Cowboys are 1-1 at AT&T Stadium this season and the club will be looking to put on a strong performance for the hometown fans. However, the Packers are riding a hot streak and are compelling underdogs against Dallas.
Breaking down the head-to-head battle between the Packers and Cowboys, it’s been a one-sided affair over the last 10 games. Green Bay owns a 7-3 record against Dallas during that stretch. BetOnline has several enticing prop betting odds, including margin of victory. One wager to consider is taking the Packers to win by a margin of 1 to 6 points, which will pay out +350. The Packers will continue their dominance against the Cowboys on Sunday.

Pick: Green Bay Packers (+2)

Detroit Lions (-135) vs. Carolina Panthers (+115)

A pair of 3-1 teams will do battle on Sunday when the Detroit Lions host the Carolina Panthers in an NFC showdown at Ford Field. The Lions suffered a heartbreaking loss in Week 3 but came back strong last Sunday with a win over the Minnesota Vikings. They enter action on Sunday as three-point favorites against Cam Newton and the Panthers.

But if you look at the last seven meetings between these two clubs, it’s been the Panthers that have dominated during that stretch, winning seven of those games. In fact, Carolina has averaged 30 points for in their last three games against the Lions, who responded with an average of 26.
There’s no question Carolina’s smothering pass rushers will put a lot of pressure on Lions QB Matthew Stafford. BetOnline has set Carolina’s projected sacks total at 2 ½ but expect the Panthers’ defense to go over that mark. It will be a tight match between these two NFL clubs. However, the Panthers will come out on top against the spread.

Pick: Carolina Panthers (+3)
