Rod Laver was one of the original greats to compete in men’s professional tennis, holding the No. 1 overall ranking from 1964 to 1970 and winning a record-setting 200 singles titles. Laver is the only player to twice earn a calendar year Grand Slam in 1962 and 1969. He also has 11 career grand slams to his name.
