Who’s Got The Power?: Online Sports Betting’s Weekly MLB Power Rankings (June 25 Edition)
The hunt for the World Series is in full swing and some clubs possess more might than others. (Sorry, Phillies fans.) Each Thursday we look at Major League Baseball's most fearsome squads in our Weekly MLB Power Rankings.

Who has the baseball world trembling at their cleats? Each week we step up to the plate and offer up our Major League Baseball Power Rankings. If your team’s in the Top 5, that means things are going pretty well for you. If your team’s the Marlins, please consider running away with Giancarlo Stanton to start a new life with a better franchise.

5. Los Angeles Dodgers

Odds To Win The World Series: 15/2

We don’t expect any sympathy for the Dodgers, but imagine how good they’d be if they could just figure out how to capitalize on stellar starts from Zach Greinke.

4. Houston Astros

Odds To Win The World Series: 16/1

After a scorching hot start to the season, Houston has settled into a mixed bag of results in June. Texas losing four straight has helped create an AL West buffer that the Astros are happy to roll with. Batters are still intimidated by this ball club thanks to a pitching staff that can claim a Major League best 1.18 WHIP and the second best ERA in the pros.

3. Washington Nationals

Odds To Win The World Series: 7/1

Say hello to the hottest team in Major League Baseball. While the New York Mets find themselves in a freefall in the NL East standings, the Washington Nationals are going in the opposite direction with a handsome five game winning streak. Max Scherzer tossed a no-no/near perfect game during this victory march and three of those wins came against formidable Pittsburgh. There’s been a bit of worrying about star slugger Bryce Harper’s health, but he’s been dynamite when in the lineup for Washington. 24 homers, 58 RBI and a .340 average are the stats that have D.C. area fans drooling.

2. Kansas City Royals

Odds To Win The World Series: 15/2

The reigning AL champs sure as sugar haven’t regressed like many prognosticators pegged them too. The team with the best batting average in all of baseball has created a bit of cushion between themselves and the surprising Twins while nimbly avoiding becoming a casualty of a questionable rotation. If the starting pitching improves, a second straight World Series appearance might be an option.

1. St Louis Cardinals

Odds To Win The World Series: 8/1

For the second straight week we have the Cardinals in the #1 slot and we assure you they did not hack into our site. (Or at least not to get our #1 designation.) St. Louis continues to boast the best record in baseball (47-24) by a healthy margin and lords an impressive seven game NL Central lead division lead over the heads of a very good Pirates squad. If you go up against St. Louis, you’re going up against a team that specializes in quality starts, can boast the lowest ERA in the Majors and doesn’t have to worry about getting on base. Fear them.
