49ers and Rams Meet on Monday Night Football in St. Louis

49ers try to put drama in the rear-view mirror tonight

With a lot of rumors swirling around the 49ers about head coach Jim Harbaugh and his standing with the organization, the 49ers will look to put all of this behind them when they take the field on Monday night to take on the Rams. San Francisco is just 3-2 to open the season, but will be looking for a third consecutive victory when they play in front of a national audience yet again tonight.

Rams pinning their hopes on third-string quarterback this year

St. Louis has opened the season with a 1-3 record behind a third-string quarterback who has actually played quite well. He almost pulled off one of the greatest comebacks in NFL history against the Eagles in a 34-28 loss. St. Louis trailed 13-0 and 34-7 during the game before Philadelphia made a stop on defense to record the victory. In his last two games, Austin Davis has thrown six touchdowns and two interceptions.

On Monday night, in front of a national audience, the 49ers will visit the Rams. We will take a look at the betting odds found at Sportsbook.ag for this game. The 49ers come into play favored to win the contest by 3.5 points. We are going to drop 15 percent of our bankroll on the visiting 49ers as they win their fourth game of the season and drop the Rams to 1-4 on the year.
