Anaheim Out to Continue Dominance of League When Pittsburgh Visits

Ducks aiming to add to their point total

With 92 points on the season, the Ducks have the highest point total in the league. They are working towards the top seed in the Western Conference playoffs as they attempt to secure another Stanley Cup title. Anaheim has struggled of late, playing to a 5-4-1 record in their last 10 games. They enter tonight’s contest coming off a loss, but should be able to put a win up when the Penguins come to town.

Penguins trying to regain form following loss

On their current West Coast trip, the Penguins have already dropped a game to one of the top team’s in the league, the San Jose Sharks. Prior to their arrival on the Coast, the Pens dropped a game to the Chicago Blackhawks, another top team from the Western Conference. Pittsburgh, despite being the top team in the East, has had trouble with teams from the Western Conference this season, which does not bode well if they reach the Finals.

The oddsmakers from Bovada have the host Ducks as the favorites on Friday night by 1.5 goals. Even though Pittsburgh is a very good team, the Ducks are markedly better than the Pens. This is why we will back Anaheim at home with the -140 money line as we drop 15 percent of our bankroll on the Ducks over the Penguins. Place your bets now and enjoy the contest.
