Athletics Put Win Streak on the Line Against Tigers Monday Night

Athletics hope Kazmir bounces back after tough outing

Scott Kazmir has helped solidify this Athletics rotation in 2014 with his nine wins and ERA under 3.00, but his last start was an ugly one. He faced the Mets last Tuesday and allowed seven runs on eight hits in just three innings of work. In his previous 15 starts, his ERA was at 2.08. The A’s hope that the outing was just a small blip on the radar of a very strong season for the veteran lefty.

Tigers look to Anibal Sanchez to get back into the win column

Detroit has been hot of late, winning eight of their last 10, but dropped a decision on Sunday. They lead the AL Central after falling into second place for a very brief time. Now, they ask Anibal Sanchez to continue his strong season on Monday night and return the team to the win column. Sanchez is just 5-2 this year, but he boasts and ERA of 2.64 coming into tonight. He also struggled the last time on the mound.

When we bet on the Athletics and the Tigers Monday night it will be done at SportsBetting.ag, where the Tigers are home chalk. We are going to bet 15 percent of our bankroll on the visiting Athletics and the OVER eight total runs scored at -125 on Monday night as the A’s add to their win streak.
