Legendary Breeders’ Cup Classic wraps up 2012 Horse Racing Championships

Sheer mention of the names in the opening of this piece stirs amazing memories for those in the horse betting fraternity. Whether its Zenyatta earning Super Horse status by staging a stirring come from behind win in 2008, or the great Curlin blowing away the field with a huge kick at the turn for home, memories are made at this spectacular horse racing event. Drosselmeyer, under jockey Mike Smith, came from “out of the clouds” on the far outside and made a thunderous run in the last 100 yards to win the $5 million 2011 Cup Classic.
