Cardinals Take on Brewers for NL Central Battle Monday Night

Cardinals bats starting to awaken

St. Louis’ offense looks like it has begun to show signs of life following its recent series against the Chicago Cubs. They scored 16 runs in the final two games of the series, both wins, after scoring just three in their extra inning loss to begin the series. They have already been shut out twice this season, both coming against the Cincinnati Reds. The Cardinals have yet to play an opponent outside of the NL Central.

Brewers aiming for 11 in a row on Monday

Milwaukee has not started this hot since 1987, when they opened the season on a 13-0 run. They have swept three straight series, including their most recent against the Pittsburgh Pirates. They are looking for their first 10-game winning streak since 2003. Milwaukee has struggled against the Cardinals since the middle of August in 2011, going just 12-29. They dropped 14 of 19 against St. Louis last season.

Betting odds for tonight’s MLB contest featuring NL Central rivals the Brewers and the Cardinals are found at Here, the Brewers are home chalk to win this game, but we still like the Cardinals on the road. That is why we will drop 15 percent of our bankroll on St. Louis with the OVER 7.5 total runs scored at -130 against Milwaukee. Place your bets now and enjoy the game.
