CFL Week 6: British Columbia Lions vs. Winnipeg Blue Bombers

BC Lions look to rebound from CFL Week 5 loss in Toronto

Sitting with a 3-2 record, the BC Lions look to rebound from a disastrous trip east to Toronto as the Cats were ripped 38-12 by the Argonauts during Week 5 CFL action. The Lions weren’t good on either side of the ball last week but they were particularly poor on defense. Toronto started back-ups at quarterback and running back and the Argos still crushed them. QB Travis Lulay also needs to be better tonight as he was just 20 of 29 for 226 yards, no touchdowns, one interception and one fumble lost on the road last Tuesday. The Leo’s are 2-0 at BC Place this season and have outscored their opponents by a 55-37 combined count under the dome.

Winnipeg Blue Bombers: Officially the cellar dwellers in the CFL East Division

After the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (2-4) hung on for a 30-29 victory over the Edmonton Eskimos on Friday night, Winnipeg is now officially the sole resident of the CFL East cellar. The Blue Bombers are 1-4 and they have been outscored by a 115 – 146 combined count through the first five weeks of the season. The Bombers may want to hang their hat on the fact that their lone victory came on the road as they defeated the Alouettes 19-11 in Montreal during CFL Week 2 action. That said, scoring an average of 23 points per game is not enough for games that are played in the wild CFL West. Winnipeg will leave BC feeling battered & blue after this contest.

Blue Bombers vs. BC Lions CFL Week 6 Odds & Online Sports Betting Prediction

Wow! The bookmakers at don’t like the Blue Bombers chances on the road at BC Place tonight as Winnipeg now owns the biggest underdog line of the 2013 CFL season. The BC Lions are posted as home chalk at -11.5 (-110) against the spread and -650 straight up in this contest. The Bombers are huge road pups at -11.5 (-110) ATS and +510 on the money line while the Over/Under is set at 50 (-110) total points. There’s no doubt that the Blue Bombers are in tough here but a double-digit line is a lot for a BC Lions club that has not looked very good this season. As such, we are going load up on the Leo’s with the -650 ML at BetOnline!
