Chicago vs. Boston: 2013 NHL Stanley Cup Finals Game Two

Boston looks to rebound after letting Game One slip away

While its never easy to accept a loss in triple OT on any level, it’s even more difficult when it happens on the big stage of a league championship series. Further to that, it’s even tougher to accept when you let a 3-1 lead evaporate with twelve minutes left in the contest. That is however something the Bruins will have to shake off as they look to even the Cup Final series on enemy ice tonight. If any team is capable of a rebound win – it’s the Boys from Beantown. Still, we like that we are getting a puck and half with the Bruins again tonight.

Chicago Blackhawks continue to dominate at the Madhouse on Madison

Chicago looks to continue their home ice dominance tonight as the Blackhawks are now 10-1 at the United Center during the 2013 NHL Stanley Cup playoffs. The lone hiccup was a 4-1 loss to the Detroit Red Wings during Game Two of their semifinal series. The Hawks have outscored their opponents by a combined count of 37-19 on their home pond during the postseason. Chicago is gaining a flair for the dramatic as they have played over ten periods of hockey in their last two contests. A Boston win would not surprise us in this contest.
