Dallas Tries to Extend Win Streak to Five with Chicago in Town

Dallas doing its best to grab higher seed

With a 36-23 overall record, the Mavericks are in sixth place in the Western Conference standings. They are only a couple games out of a middle seed when the playoffs arrive. With a four-game winning streak at hand, the Mavericks have been able to move out of the eighth and final playoff spot. Dallas throttled the Bulls in Chicago at the end of December in the first of two meetings between these two teams.

Chicago a season-high five games over .500

With a two-game winning streak and an 8-2 mark in their last 10 games, the Bulls have moved to a season-high five games over the .500 mark. A win tonight would be the eighth in the last nine games for the Bulls, who have not played particularly well on the road this season. The Bulls are 14-16 away from home, but will need to start winning road games if they want to hold onto the fourth spot in the Eastern Conference.

Since improving their play after the All-Star break, the Mavericks are starting to make some noise in the West. Sportsbook.ag has the Mavs as -4.5 (-110) favorites to win this game on Friday night. This game has all the makings of an exciting one, especially if the Bulls defense can hold tough against the Mavs. In the end, we will lay the line in favor of Dallas by betting 10 percent of our bankroll as they grab a fifth straight win.
