Flames Battle Blackhawks: NHL Online Betting Lines Preview

Chicago Blackhawks: Look to rebound from two game skid

Chicago comes into Tuesday action having lost two straight games in regulation play for just the second time this season. After the Hawks opened the season without a regulation loss in 24 straight games, both sets of loses have come in their last seven games. Chicago lost 4-2 to the Ducks in Anaheim on Wednesday, enjoyed four days off, and then dropped a 5-4 decision to the Los Angeles Kings at home last night. Ray Emery gets the start in goal for the Hawks tonight and he’s sporting a perfect 11-0 record this season – not to shabby for a “backup” goalie. We’ll chalk last nights effort up to rust and we expect Chicago to be much sharper in this one.

Calgary Flames: Attempting to break out of two losing streaks on the road

Calgary heads into hostile territory tonight as the Flames have dropped eleven straight games at the United Center. It’s been a nightmare on Madison for Calgary as their last victory (4-2) was back on March 16, 2008. In the here and now, Calgary is riding a nine game road losing streak as their last win as a visitor came on February 17 when they defeated the Stars 4-3 in Dallas. Calgary lost three straight on the road, prior to their 3-2 home win over the St. Louis Blues on Sunday night. This team is in shambles as star forward Jarome Iginla is on his way out of town and netminder Miikka Kiprusoff has allowed 12 goals in his last three games.

Chicago vs. Calgary Betting Lines Update & Online Sports Betting Game Day Call

Surfing over the wagering website we find the Blackhawks as home chalk at -1.5 (+135) ATS and -210 on the money line. The Flames are road pups at +1.5 (-155) on the puck line and +175 straight up while the game total is set at 5.5 pucks (O +105 U -125). Two straight loses by the Blackhawks didn’t help us much on the prices here. The Flames are not the same caliber as the Kings and Ducks and we see their road woes continuing in this contest. We’ll soar with the Hawks and the -1.5 (+135) puck line offered at TopBet!
