Flyers Visit Bruins to Open 2014-2015 NHL Season Wednesday Night

Bruins open 2014-2015 season looking for another Cup title

Boston will begin the new season with the hope of it ending in another Stanley Cup title. Last season saw Boston finish with the best record in the Eastern Conference, but they were knocked out of the playoffs in the second round by the Montreal Canadiens. Tuukka Rask and Patrice Bergeron won season-ending awards. Jarome Iginla left via free agency and Johnny Boychuk was traded this past weekend to the New York Islanders so Boston will look a little different tonight on the ice.

Flyers look to avoid another slow start with new system in place

After a brutal start to last season, the Flyers switched head coaches, promoting assistant Craig Berube to the top spot. He will begin his first full season as the head coach after leading the Flyers to an impressive turnaround last year and a berth in the playoffs. Philadelphia was eliminated in the first round in seven games to the New York Rangers. The Flyers dropped all three meetings with Boston last season.

On Wednesday night, the Flyers will visit the Bruins to open the NHL season. We will place our wager over at BetOnline.ag, where the Bruins are favored at home to win this game. We like Boston to be victorious, which is why we will drop 10 percent of our bankroll on the Bruins and the -177 money line.
