Giants Aim for 2-0 Lead in World Series as Royals Look to Rebound

Giants leaning on experience of Peavy in game two

The Giants rotation features three pitchers not named Madison Bumgarner who have records under the .500 mark. It is the first time in MLB history that a team has reached the World Series with even more than one pitcher with such a record. Those other three pitchers are Tim Hudson, Ryan Vogelsong and tonight’s starter, Jake Peavy. Peavy won the World Series with the Red Sox in 2013 and looks for his second straight ring.

Royals surprisingly in must-win situation for game two

Even though it is only game two of the World Series, the Royals are already in must-win mode. They cannot afford to lose both opening games at home and then move to San Francisco for the middle three games of the series. They might not return home should they go down 0-2 tonight. Rookie flame thrower Yordano Ventura will be thrust onto the biggest stage in baseball tonight with very little experience. He has pitched in just 34 regular season games since the end of the 2013 season.

We will use the betting odds found at SportsBetting.ag on Wednesday night for game two between the Royals and the Giants from Kauffman Stadium. We like the experience of the Giants, which is why we will drop 10 percent of our bankroll on San Francisco and the OVER seven total runs scored at +100 as they grab a 2-0 lead in the series.
