Giants Out to End Padres Four-Game Win Streak Friday Night
Matt Cain looks to build off solid start
In his previous outing, Matt Cain allowed zero runs on six hits in seven solid innings pitched. It was the best start of the season for Cain, who has spent quite a bit of time on the disabled list this year. He is just 1-6 with an ERA of 4.38 and he will look to build off that excellent start when he faces the division rival Padres on Friday night. In his 13 starts this year, the Giants have averaged just 3.25 runs per game on offense.
Padres ask Stults to extend win streak to five games
San Diego will hand the ball to veteran Eric Stults on Friday night in the hopes that he can extend the winning streak for the Padres to five games. San Diego is well out of the race in the NL West as they sit 9.5 games out of first place. They would like to hand the Giants a third straight loss. The last time San Diego saw the Giants, they were no-hit by Tim Lincecum for the second time in less than one year.
Our baseball bet will be placed at Bovada.lv on Friday night as the Padres host the Giants. We will drop 15 percent of our bankroll on the visiting Giants and the -120 money line as they snap their short losing streak and end the winning streak of the Padres. Enjoy the hot dogs, hamburgers and fireworks while watching America’s past-time.
