Giants vs Astros MLB National League Handicapping Advice

San Francisco Giants: Rolling along with NL West Lead

Despite losing their top hitter (OF Melky Cabrera) to a 50-game suspension for testing positive for increased levels of testosterone, the Giants have opened a 3.5 game lead over the Los Angels Dodgers in the National League West. The Giants are 7-3 over their last ten games and send LHP Barry Zito (10-8 ERA 4.31) to the hill tonight. Zito hasn’t been at his best recently but he should have enough to tame the ‘Stros bats.

Houston Astros: Worst versus first scenario deserves our support

We have been pounding on the Houston Astros lately – with very good reasons. At 40-89, the ‘Stros are by far the worst team in the Majors for the second season in a row. In a “you ain’t seen nothing yet” scenario, the Astros are headed to a new low after they finished 56-106 in 2011. LHP Dallas Keuchel (1-6 ERA 5.40) will try to halt the Astros 1-10 recent run. The Arkansas rookie is 0-2 with a 4.86 ERA in his last three starts.

San Francisco Giants vs. Houston Astros Online Spots Betting Prediction

Look Folks, it’s time to pick on the losers in Major League Baseball. This is especially true when they are up against teams that are desperate to keep winning as is the case in this contest tonight. Tempted by the -1.5 run line (-105) we are going to settle on the sportsbook -155 Money Line in this contest. Other MLB bets to consider include the Rangers (-159) and the Angels (-217). Load up and prosper my friends!
