Lakers Visit Spurs Friday Night for Lopsided NBA Matchup

Spurs out to extend tiny lead in the West

With just a half-game lead over the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference standings, the Spurs will look to a win over the lowly Lakers on Friday night at home to stay atop the West. The Spurs have been on fire recently, winning eight straight games and recording a 9-1 mark in their last 10 games played. The only hotter team in the league are the Clippers, who are three games behind the Spurs in the West.

Lakers want to spoil the party for playoff hopeful teams

Los Angeles is out to spoil the fun for teams trying to make a run at the playoffs this season since they will not be partaking in the post-season themselves. The Lakers, with just 22 wins, are at the very bottom of the Western Conference standings. They have split their 22 wins down the middle for home and away victories. Los Angeles allows the second-highest points per game in the league behind only the Philadelphia 76ers.

Since this game is such an incredible mismatch, the Spurs are 18-point favorites at home over the visiting Lakers on Friday night at Sportsbook.ag. We have chosen to bet on this game in an effort to increase our winnings since it is such an obvious choice. We will lay the line with 20 percent of our bankroll in favor of the Spurs as they take down the Lakers on their home court.
