Los Angeles Kings Preparing for Playoff Run Against Calgary Flames

Kings preparing for deep playoff run once again

Los Angeles has secured a spot in the NHL playoffs with 96 points, but cannot move any further up the Western Conference standings. They sit in the sixth-seed in the standings and have just three games remaining, including tonight’s versus the Flames. They can only secure six more points and are nine behind the Chicago Blackhawks for the fifth spot in the conference standings. The Kings need a win to get things going right now.

Flames playing out the string in hopes of better days

Calgary was eliminated from playoff contention not too long ago, but it seemed to spur them in the right direction. They have won three straight games to pull away from Edmonton at the bottom of the conference standings. The Flames would love nothing more than to end the season on a long winning streak to make themselves feel a little bit better about next season. This is the rubber match of the five-game season series, with both teams winning two games.

The oddsmakers from SportsBetting.ag have the Kings as road chalk by 1.5 points to win this contest. Even though the Kings have struggled and the Flames have been surging, we will still back the Kings on the road. We will drop 15 percent of our bankroll on the Kings as we lay the line and watch them get back on track right before the playoffs start.
