Mid-Summer Classic Set for Tuesday Night at Target Field in Minnesota

National League hopes to score a run this year

The game was hosted at an NL stadium in 2013, at Citi Field in New York. The NL club was shutout by the AL club, 3-0. The National League offense was non-existent and this year’s club looks to rebound from an ugly outing just one year ago. As we all know, the league that wins this game acquires home-field advantage throughout the World Series, so it is incredibly important.

American League looking to build another win streak

The American League has enjoyed some lengthy winning streaks in this annual contest, but they have not put together a streak in a couple of years. From 1997 to 2009, the American League team won each All-Star game except for the tie in 2002. That was just the second tie in All-Star game history, which dates back to 1933. The AL would love to begin another lengthy winning streak in an effort to tie the NL in wins. Right now, the NL has an overall record of 43-39-2.

When the most talented baseball players on Earth collide for the annual All-Star game, we will find the odds at BetOnline.ag. We are going to back the visiting National League club on Tuesday night as we drop 10 percent of our bankroll on the -109 money line. These games are never short on excitement and drama, so be sure to tune in on Tuesday.
