National Championship Game: Kentucky vs Connecticut

Wildcats aiming for greatness one more time

Kentucky has played some exciting games in this tournament, most notably their contests against Louisville, Michigan and Wisconsin to get to this point. One of the starting five freshmen, Aaron Harrison, hit three-pointers in all of those games to secure wins for the Wildcats. Just one month ago it looked like Kentucky might not even make the tournament following some ugly losses in the regular-season. Now, they are playing for the national title once again.

Huskies back in title game following strong run

Connecticut has enjoyed a strong run through the tourney of its own. After missing out last year due to academic issues, the Huskies are in the title game in just the second season of head coach Kevin Ollie’s career. He took over for Jim Calhoun last season and has been able to keep the talent in-school despite their opportunity to transfer. Now, they are in the title game once more. These two programs have won six of the past 18 national titles.

The National Championship game featuring the Kentucky Wildcats and the Connecticut Huskies could go down as one of the most exciting games in history despite the seeds. At Sportsbook.ag, the oddsmakers have the Wildcats as just two-point favorites to bring home the hardware. We will drop 10 percent of our bankroll on Kentucky as we lay the line on Monday night.
