Championship Sunday ended up shaking out just as many NFL experts expected: with the New Orleans Saints facing the Los Angeles Rams, and the Kansas City Chiefs playing host to the dynastic New England Patriots. But just because we’re, that doesn’t mean the outcomes are a given. They’re not. Our analysis aims to help you tackle this uncertainty by providing all of the following:

New Orleans Saints (-3) vs. Los Angeles Rams (+3)

Where: Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana

Date: Sunday, January 20

Time: 3:05 p.m. ET

So this game is going to be fun.

The Saints have the NFL’s second-best offense. The Rams have the NFL’s third-best offense. Points are going to be scored.

If you’re banking on a blowout, here’s some food for thought: don’t. Five of their past six games have been decided by single digits, including their stand against the Philadelphia Eagles this past week. New Orleans isn’t scoring that much either—at least not as much as usual. They’re now down to averaging under 20 points over their last five games.

Even the Saints’ defense has been off and one. They looked like one of the stingier factions to begin the year, but they finished the season 14th in points allowed per game. It isn’t going to get much easier for them against Los Angeles running back Todd Gurley.

Still, we should note the Saints are second in net yards allowed per rushing attempt. And despite improvement from the Rams’ quarterback, Jason Goff, Los Angeles isn’t built to win too many games through the air. That’s the specialty of Drew Brees, who should shine against a Rams defense that ranks 25th in total touchdowns allowed through the air, in addition to 22nd in net yards allowed per passing attempt.

Prediction: New Orleans Saints (-3)

Kansas City Chiefs (-3.5) vs. New England Patriots (+3.5)

Where: Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri

Date: Sunday, January 20

Time: 6:40 p.m. ET

So much for the Patriots being done.

New England picked apart the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. Yes, they were playing at home, where they haven’t loss this season. But they figure to be dangerous on the road.

How dangerous? We cannot be sure. The Patriots were outscored by a total of 19 points on the road this season—an average of about 2.4 points per game. The Chiefs, meanwhile, are averaging over 32 points per game and beating teams by more than two touchdowns per game when playing at home.

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes is playing through his first postseason. That matters in the NFL. Tom Brady and the Patriots are no strangers to these high stakes affairs, and they’ve received a boon from their defense in recent weeks. They need to be taken seriously.

But the Chiefs aren’t a joke. They almost beat the Patriots in Week 6…in New England no less. This game may be close, but it should be the Chiefs who win.

Prediction: Kansas City Chiefs (-3.5)
