NHL Playoff Schedule: Two Canadian Betting Options
NHL Round One Playoff Betting Canucks vs. Kings
It took an 8-1-1 final ten game run but the Vancouver Canucks are the toast of the National Hockey League as back-to-back Presidents Cup winners – which means diddly squat. Over the past eight seasons only the Detroit Red Wings (2007-08) won the PC hardware and then took home the Stanley Cup.
Vancouver came within a game last season but, when you are chasing Stanley – close doesn’t count. Now the Canucks get an unpredictable Los Angeles Kings crew who are backed by Jonathan Quick who led all full time NHL goaltenders with a 1.95 goals against average during the 2011-12 NHL regular season.
Rangers vs. Senators Battle In The Big Apple
Back in October 2011, if you had asked just about any hockey “expert” if the Ottawa Senators would make the playoffs, they would have laughed. Predicted to finish last in the entire National Hockey League, the Senators battled tough all season and were rewarded with the eighth and final Eastern Conference playoff position.
For their efforts, the ‘Sens earned a trip to New York and a first round match-up against the Eastern Conference regular season Champion Rangers. The Broadway Blueshirts finished the season with 109 points while the Senators closed on a 4-6 run to garner 92 points. We don’t like the Senators chances in Manhattan.
Bet On The National Hockey League Playoffs
Two Canadian teams, one – Vancouver is expected to survive Round One, while the other – Ottawa is expected to get rolled. We would caution puck betting fans that both teams could see an early exit from the 2011-12 NHL Playoffs. No matter your team allegiance, top online sportsbooks have got the NHL Playoffs covered from end to end and they are open 24/7 to take you playoff puck betting action!
