NHL Stanley Cup Conference Finals: Advantage Regular Readers

Chicago vs. Los Angeles: Loyal OSB readers set to cash in

Here at Online Sports Betting, we’re not big on tooting our own horn all that often as we prefer to let our handicapping calls speak for themselves. That said, every once in a while we like to remind our readers when an opportunity for a double-dip or sure cash is on the horizon. Back on April 29, we posted predictions for the NHL Western Conference Final that had either CHI +200 or LAK +700 winning the West. Obviously, our wager of 250 units on both investments is going to pay off – the only question is how big the haul will be. If Chicago wins the series we bank 250 units, if the Champs advance to the Cup Final the payoff rises to 1,500 units.

Western Conference Final Betting: Building on units already in the bankroll

With the above scenarios in place, we’re in a good spot to build on our guaranteed cash out. The bookmakers at bovada.lv have posted several “series game spreads” and the Hawks with a +1.5 (-250) betting line is the one that caught our eye. By taking 1,000 of the possible winning units, should the Kings advance, and putting it on the Hawks getting a game and half, we have now set up one of three guaranteed wins. 1) If Chicago wins the series we bank 650 units. 2) If the Kings win the series by two games or more the return is 500 units. 3) if the Champs win a seven game series 4-3, we add 1900 units to our bankroll. We’ll book that bet at Bovada!

Editors Note: While some handicapping “experts” may scuff at this bet, we follow a Greed Kills mantra at OSB. With the above investment scenario in place, we have at least doubled our minimum guaranteed win. Good Luck and enjoy the NHL Conference Finals. We are looking forward to Kings vs. Penguins Cup Final!
