Ottawa vs. Montreal and Washington vs. New York Series Open

Canadiens vs. Senators: First NHL playoff battle since 1927

With their cities separated by just 124 miles, the Montreal Canadiens and Ottawa Senators meet in National Hockey League postseason action for the first time in 86 years tonight. It was all about the home team in four regular season games this season as the Canadiens won 4-3 and 2-1 in contests at the Bell Centre while the Senators won 2-1 and 5-1 in matches at Scotiabank Place in Ottawa. We expect that trend to continue tonight and our betting bucks will be on Les Habitants with the -150 money line at the betonline.ag sportsbook.

Capitals vs. Rangers: Familiar NHL playoff foes meet at the Verizon Center

For the fourth time in five years Washington and New York are set to battle each other in the Stanley Cup playoffs. The Capitals defeated the Rangers 4-3 and 4-1 in Eastern Conference Quarterfinal action (2009 & 2011), while the Rangers earned a 4-3 Conference Semifinal series win during the 2012 NHL playoffs. These clubs meet three times in the regular season with New York winning twice (2-1 and 4-1) while Washington won the other match by a 3-2 final score. Give us the Blueshirts and the +1.5 (-285) puck line at BetOnline!
