Playoff Contenders Meet in Milwaukee When Brewers Host Giants

Brewers clinging to a one-game lead in the Central

Milwaukee is just one game ahead of the Cardinals for the top spot in the NL Central. They will look to extend their lead with a win on Wednesday night and a loss for the Cardinals in their game with the Red Sox. Gallardo is 6-5 with a 3.38 ERA this season and has a scoreless streak of 16.2 innings pitched after holding Tampa Bay scoreless in seven innings the last time he took the mound.

Giants ready to make a move up the West ladder

San Francisco is just 2.5 games out of first behind the Dodgers in the NL West coming into tonight’s game with the Brewers. They will ask Ryan Vogelsong to even this series at one game apiece on Wednesday night. Vogelsong is 6-8 with an ERA of 3.88 this year. Vogelsong threw his first career nine-inning complete game the last time he took the mound for the Giants.

When the Giants and the Brewers meet for a possible playoff preview, we will place our bet at, where the Brewers are home chalk. We are going to bet 10 percent of our bankroll on the Brew Crew and the -136 money line as Milwaukee takes the first two games of this series. With Gallardo on the mound, the Brewers should have no trouble grabbing a win in this contest against the Giants on Wednesday.
