Rangers and Penguins Open Second-Round of NHL Playoffs Friday

Penguins prepared for another tough fight

After needing six games to send the Blue Jackets home, the Penguins know that this second-round series with the Rangers will be just as tough, if not tougher. Pittsburgh believes that the adversity it faced in round one will only help them in the second-round. There will not be as much heat in this series as there would have been had the Flyers taken down New York, but it will still be fun to watch.

Rangers could be very tired tonight

New York had just one day off after taking down the Flyers and beginning their series with the Penguins in Pittsburgh. With their series going seven games, the Rangers could be skating on very tired legs Friday night, which could be a recipe for disaster when facing the Penguins. New York will need superb goalie play from Henrik Lundqvist if the Rangers want to contend in this series, much like his game seven effort against Philly.

Our bet will be placed for Pittsburgh tonight when we visit SportsBetting.ag. We will drop 20 percent of our bankroll on Pittsburgh and the -151 money line as they open their second-round NHL playoff series against the Rangers with a win. Even though the Penguins needed six games to win their first-round series, they are prepared to take on the Rangers in round two and seem to be headed in the right direction.
