Red Hot Red Sox Open Series with Indians in Cleveland

Red Sox enjoying turnaround and current win streak

Boston is in the midst of a seven-game winning streak after losing 10 straight. Things are looking up for the Red Sox right now after not much could go right for them in the month of May. Boston will look to extend its streak to eight games on Monday night when they open a three-game set with the Indians in Cleveland. Veteran John Lackey takes the mound for the Red Sox.

Indians hope to extend brief win streak tonight

Cleveland has a three-game win streak that they will look to extend on Monday night against the Red Sox at home. Cleveland is 18-11 at home this year. Former Red Sox pitcher Justin Masterson will take the mound for the Indians in hopes of beating his former team. He has struggled this year to the tune of a 5.21 ERA. He lasted just three innings in his last start, a rain-shortened loss to the White Sox.

We find the betting odds for Boston and Cleveland at, where the Red Sox are favorites on the road against the Indians. Boston is incredibly hot right now following their horrific 10-game losing streak and will grab an eighth straight win tonight. This is why we will drop 15 percent of our bankroll on Boston and the -1.5 (+135) spread to grab the victory in game one of this series. Boston will look to beat its former manager in Terry Francona.
