Spurs Out for 19th Straight Win When Warriors Come to Town

Spurs appear to be unstoppable right now

San Antonio enters this game having won 18 consecutive games after dismantling one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference, the Indiana Pacers. During their winning streak, the Spurs have won by an average of 16.5 points. The whole team concept has come into play during this streak as role players have picked up struggling stars and vice-versa. San Antonio has just eight losses at home this year, with their last one coming on January 29 against Chicago.

Warriors need another win in battle for playoff spot

Golden State comes into tonight’s contest with the Spurs sitting in the sixth spot in the Western Conference standings. They are alone in that position and can still move into the fifth spot with some wins and a little help from the league. There are a couple of things going against the Warriors tonight; they have lost the first three games of this season series and have lost 30 straight regular-season road games to the Spurs. Too much needs to go right for a win tonight.

Not surprisingly, the Spurs are 9.5-point home chalk to win this contest with the Warriors. The oddsmakers at don’t seem to hold too much hope for Golden State tonight, and neither do we, which is why we will bet 20 percent of our bankroll on the Spurs as we lay the line for the Spurs 19th straight win.
