San Francisco will look to return the favor to Carolina for a regular-season loss on November 10 at home by a score of 10-9. Michael Crabtree did not play in the loss to the Panthers earlier this season due to an Achilles injury. He has been almost unstoppable during his playoff career though.

Carolina Panthers: Magical season comes to an end

Carolina has enjoyed a magical ride this season, but is not good enough to win a playoff game yet. Cam Newton will be making his playoff debut on Sunday at home, which is a major confidence booster. Carolina started the season 1-3 before reeling off eight straight wins. They dropped a decision to New Orleans and then won three straight games to finish the regular-season, securing the NFC South title and a first-round bye. The Panthers will need to stop Colin Kaepernick for a second straight time this season if they want to advance to the NFC title game next week.
