Tampa Bay Lightning vs Los Angeles Kings Tuesday NHL Betting

Tampa Bay Lightning: One loss against West teams

So far this season, the Lightning have enjoyed success against teams from the Western Conference. Prior to Saturday’s contest with the Phoenix Coyotes, the Lightning were 7-0-0 against the West. Tampa Bay fell to the Coyotes by a score of 6-3 to begin a four-game road trip. Now, the Lightning will look to rebound against the Kings, also from the West, in hopes of securing their 15th win and 30th points of the season.

Los Angeles Kings: Riding hot hand of replacement goalie

Los Angeles has enjoyed the success of its replacement goaltender, Ben Scrivens. Scrivens has recorded two consecutive shutouts, helping the Kings obtain an overall record of 14-6-1, which is good for 29 points. Scrivens is replacing starting goalie Jonathan Quick, who is out indefinitely. Scrivens is 3-0 with a goals against average of 0.67 in three straight starts. Overall, Scrivens is 4-1-0 with a GAA of 1.00 in five games.

With a large slate of NHL games scheduled for Tuesday night, the one that should create the most excitement will be played on the West Coast late in the evening between the Los Angeles Kings and the Tampa Bay Lightning. The Kings hope to stay hot for new starter Scrivens while Tampa Bay hopes to rebound against the West. Bet on the Lightning with the +135 money line at the sportsbook.
