While golf fans across the world have grown accustomed to Tiger Woods’ sub-par playing on the course, a fan ran onto the green during the final round of the Frys Open in California, and threw a hot dog right at him after shouting his name repeatedly.
Lucky for the pro-golfer turned hot-dog thrower target, the hot dog broke apart in mid air and missed him entirely. Unluckily, it was the big newsmaker for Tiger this week, which isn’t surprising given his sorry state of being on the fairway.
This marks Tiger Woods’ first return to the PGA Tour since about mid-August when he wasn’t able to make it into the Championship due to concerns his game wouldn’t be at the same level it had once been, or even close, for that matter.
Perhaps the struggling Tiger Woods should take a hint and consider a career as a professional eater in the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest.
