Tigers Bring Red-Hot Offense to Kansas City to Face Royals

Tigers riding hot bats to wider lead in Central

Detroit has used its offense to build a 5.5 game lead in the AL Central over the Royals. They can really put some distance between them and the Royals with wins in the final three games of this series. Anibal Sanchez will get the ball tonight and he has downright dominated the Royals in his career, pitching to a 1.04 ERA. Sanchez has a 3.18 ERA for the season and looks to rebound from a tough start his last time on the mound.

Royals quickly losing ground in AL Central

Kansas City viewed this series as an important one, even though it was scheduled prior to the All-Star break. Despite this, the Royals still want to make a dent in the lead currently held by the Tigers. They got off to a bad start with their 16-4 loss in game one. All the confidence and momentum belongs to Detroit right now. Kansas City cannot afford to get swept in this series, so a win in game two is very important tonight.

We are going to place our bets at on Friday night. The oddsmakers like the Tigers on the road due to their hot bats. We are going to bet 15 percent of our bankroll on Detroit and the -120 money line on Friday night. The Tigers briefly saw their division lead disappear last month, but have regained it and then some.
