Two ACC Rivals Collide When Florida State Hosts North Carolina

Tar Heels trying to crack the top-25

In what was an incredibly shaky start to the season, the Tar Heels have rebounded to get their overall record to 17-7. They have a 7-4 mark in the ACC and find themselves just two games behind the Duke Blue Devils for third-place in the standings. The Tar Heels haven’t seen much of the top-25 this season and are looking to crack the list as the tournament closes in on us. With a six-game winning streak on the line, expect the Heels to contend tonight.

Seminoles want to match season football team had

The Seminoles would love it if they could get into the tournament and go on a Cinderella run towards the title game. The program would then be the second team at the school to win a national title this school-year. Can it happen? Anything is possible, but it does not seem likely for this Florida State team, which is 15-10 overall and 6-7 in the ACC. Florida State can take a big step in that direction with a home win over the Tar Heels tonight.

The oddsmakers at Sportsbook.ag has the Tar Heels at -1.5 (-110) favorites despite being on the road in this ACC tilt. In what can be a very exciting contest since there are no games featuring top-25 teams tonight, North Carolina and Florida State both need this win desperately. We will lay the line as the Tar Heels escape Tallahassee with a win.
