Volunteers and Wolverines Meet Friday for Berth in Elite Eight

Wolverines getting closer to another Final Four

Michigan is within two wins of reaching a second consecutive Final Four after not reaching the plateau since the Fab Five. Now, the Wolverines can take their strong season and turn it into an extraordinary one. It all begins tonight when they take on the Volunteers from Tennessee in Indiana. The Wolverine offense has been the team’s strong point this year, featuring three players in double-digits in scoring. This includes Big Ten Player of the Year Nik Stauskas.

Volunteers trying to keep the magic going

Tennessee is out to prove all of the doubters wrong, and they have definitely done that so far in this tournament. For a team that looked as if it was not going to make the tourney, the Volunteers find themselves in the Sweet 16 and just two wins away from the Final Four. As an 11-seed, the Volunteers will need to play an excellent game on defense in order to take down the Wolverines. Tennessee has held its last 11 opponents to less than 70 points scored.

When it comes time to place a bet tonight, make sure you use SportsBetting.ag for the odds. Here, you will find the Wolverines are just 2.5-point favorites in this Sweet 16 contest. Even though the spread is low, we still like the Wolverines to win, which is why we will lay the line with 15 percent of our bankroll on Friday night.
